Reviews
I've used a regular 2.1 and 2.5 GoPro lens with no problems. I did have to change the case on one of my HS1189s so the lens would screw in far enough to focus. If you are having troubles focusing a lens swap out the case. Some allow the lens to go in further it seems. Or just take the board out of the case and really crank on the lens to get it to go in. Not saying I recommend doing that, but I've done it with success.

Pretty much the same case/form factor as a hs1177. 2.5mm lens is slightly smaller than a gopro lens but same field of view. nBoth lenses are easily focused and has a sharp image corner to corner. (I don't use crappy fatshark goggles)nI'll be changing out all my hs1177's for this camera. Sharp image, fantastic colour nearly on par with my prosight HD system apart from analog static. The inline OSD button board is great, no need for funky DIY RCA adaptors.nnOnly complaint is no Name/callsign option in the OSD menu and the Horizontal/vertical flip options do nothing.n

that is good camera, screen 16:9 fit fatshark Dominator V3
I'm going to chime in with another request for a 2.1mm lens. I flew all day with this thing day before yesterday and while I like the 16:9 format with my Dom v3's, it was frustrating not being able to get a camera angle that allowed me to just see the ground when coming in for a landing, and also see where I'm going when at speed. I tried putting a 2.1mm lens and a gopro lens on it, but neither would achieve focus, no doubt because of the 16:9 aspect or something. So no other choice really but for you to provide one that works. nI also have to say this is definitely CMOS and while it's good for a CMOS, it's not as good as CCD, and not as good as the CMOS on the Runcam Eagle. I'm not getting an Eagle because of the latency, so not sure yet if there is any option to use 16:9 on a CCD camera. Until the lens thing is sorted, unfortunately this thing won't get flown again.

This camera is an 1177 killer with the 2.5mm lens. Great color and resolution. Very fast.

Does this come with a IR Block or sensitive lens?

Love this widescreen camera, great picture quality and acceptable build quality. I don't see any latency so if you have 16:9 goggle then why would you choose a HS1177? nnGo ahead and start flaming now. ;]

This camera is AWESOME!! It's better than the HS1177 when paired with a 16:9 headset. Particularly the Dom V3. They tell me they have a 2.5mm lens coming as well. Can't wait!!nnSee my short review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSIdmjIbeOI

defective camera ?nI did many tests with foxeer 1200 using 1.2Vtx and 5.8Vtx and recorded only two videos.nHonestly foxeer 1200 was a big disappointment.nImage has distorted lines, aliasing linesnimage quality is poor compared to my ccd 600TVL HAD II nfoxeer 1200 work light well, but sharpness is bad.nI used SkyZone V2 and Headplay HD googles. In both the image was bad.n$ 45.00 is wasting money.n

Maybe you setup have problem, there are many customers using this, and get very great image
This is a good camera if you fly when the sun i high in the sky. The details and colors i find better than the 1177 and the 16:9 aspect looks really nice but as soon as sun gets low the camera darkens too much, it recovers pretty quick but one second can be too long time flying a mini multirotor.nnThe original lens looks nice but mine was awful - lots of sunstreaks when angling it towards the sun, i replaced it with a 2.5mm from this site that works perfect.nnOverall its going to stay on my quad - i fly when it's sunny or at least bright conditions. The value for money is not so good though.
